   Long Vintage Pink Glass Structural Style Earrings, Upcycled / Repurposed Large Pink Liner Disks on Stainless Steel, Eco Friendlier, Sustainable Earrings.

   I love the simplicity of the large round, almost disk shaped art glass, These stunning vintage glass beads are curved, the edges recede bac with the thickest part in the middle. Each earring has vertical lines with slight variance of the cool pink. The top beads are slightly deeper pink, and the base ones are paler. I chose these beads to match from vintage necklace. I purchased the broken vintage necklace just to Repurpose / Upcycled the five pieces of rare pink glass because these beads are very unique. Pink is very difficult to find in good quality art glass.

     I used stainless steel to make the earing sane I hand forged the French style earring wires.

     Stainless steel is a wonderful metal for Jewellery, it is extremely durable, it resists scratches and corrosion, making it perfect for daily  use. Stainless steel is not as bright as silver, it is a slightly greyish color but, it does not oxide so it is easy to care for and it will last many years.

  Transformation is a major theme and inspiration in my work. I love to create Sustainable, Ethical jewellery, accessories & art by Upcycling / Re-purposing old Vintage Gemstones, Glass, Crystal, Silver, Metals, beads, broken Vintage jewellery , found items like beach glass and more. It brings me peace to work with these Eco Friendlier materials and great joy to transform them into new creations to be loved again.

    These long, Minimalist, Structural style earrings will be wonderful for someone who loves long earrings, Pink Earrings, 1980’s Jewellery or Modern design. These Eco Friendlier earrings will be wonderful for someone who is Eco Conscious.

   Pink is the October Birthstone color. Glass is an Ethical alternative to Gemstones.
