Victorian Style Garnet Pearl Dangle Earrings

     I created these luxurious Victorian inspired Garnet and Pearl dangle earrings with 925 Sterling Silver, Upcycled Vintage and new Freshwater Cultured Pearls, featuring radiant hand faceted and polished Garnets.

     These earrings are inspired by the sparkly garnet Victorian jewellery and the white pearls, they also have an ancient medieval look. Vintage style jewellery is timeless and will never gout of style.

    The large hand cut almost vintage Garnets are hand cut, they facets reflect light beautify (6.5mm to 7mm), accented by decorative Sterling Silver daisy beads and on top I put a vintage half round or button shaped Vintage white Freshwater Cultured Pearl, another daisy bead and toped with a round polished Garnet (4mm).

    The base of the earring has rare, tiny drop shaped, white Freshwater Cultured Pearls dangling from beneath the large, faceted Garnet on the bottom.

   The earrings are photographed on French style earring hooks, but you can choose your favorite style: French Hooks (also called Sheppard Hooks), Post or extra secure Lever Back style.

     Garnets are very special gemstones, used in jewellery for thousands of years. The color usually represents blood or life. Ancient Christian jewellery was embellished with Garnets to represent Christs blood, and Pearls were used to represent Tears and Purity.

      I have a limited amount of these gorgeous hand faceted Garnets, so order soon because they are gone.

SUSTAINAINABILITY: I created these earrings with some Upcycled Vintage Freshwater Cultured Pearls and new, some almost Vintage large Garnets and new round, using hand tools and the most earth friendly methods of construction possible. I purchased my materials locally. These earrings are made to last a lifetime with care. .

BIRTHSTONE: Garnet is the traditional and ancient January Birthstone. Pinkish color Garnets are wonderful Ruby alternatives for a July Birthstone.

-Pearl is the traditional June Birthstone and Pearl was a common February birthstone used in the 15th century Pearl is also the Tibetan November birthstone
