One of a Kind, Eco friendlier Tourmaline Sterling Silver pendant made with Upcycled Vintage Sterling and faceted 4mm Tourmaline.
A fascinating round Sterling Silver pendant that has been hammered and sculpted to create an organic looking texture with shine. I wrapped seven faceted round Tourmaline stones with Sterling Silver wire to create a colorful design. The center stones I black Tourmaline, then Pink, green and paler pink stones. Seven is the number that represents completeness.
The round pendant represents life, the hammered texture and shapes represent the bumps and difficulties we face along the way, the shine and reflections represent the joy of our accomplishments, and the seven Tourmaline gemstone represents the rewards of our hard work and the joy of transformation.
Transformation is a major theme and inspiration in my work. I love to create Eco Friendlier jewellery by Upcycling and Re-purposing old Silver and Vintage Gemstones, etc., It brings me peace to work with more Ethical, Sustainable materials and immense joy to transform them into new creations, heirloom jewellery to be worn and loved for many years.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
