Sunny Day at The Lake Pendant-Sea Glass & Gemstones

    Large Eco Friendly, Sterling Silver, Sea Glass and Gemstone pendant made with mainly Upcycled Sterling Silver, Vintage Gemstones, Quartz and local freshwater Sea Glass (Beach Glass) from Lake Ontario, near my home in Port Credit, Ontario.

    I created this stunning one-of-a-kind pendant inspired by my memory of a sunny day at the lake, looking for beach glass in the sunshine.

      I used Upcycled Sterling Silver to create a round pendant, hammered to create a sparkly circle that reflects light like sunshine sparkling off the water. I used Sterling Silver wire to decorative attach a pale blue piece of beach glass (freshwater sea glass) from a local beach, wrapped with sterling silver wire to represent waves, I incorporated sparkly faceted sterling silver beads and clear quarts stones to represent the water.

   I created a dangling sun with more Upcycled Sterling Silver, hammed with a sparkly texture, with sparkly little Upcycled Vintage faceted Citrine gemstones wire wrapped around the circle.

    The large round pendant has a lovely wire wrapped bail with a little puffy heart to represent my love of the water and the joy I felt that day.

   The pendant hangs from a Rolo style chain with a wrapped beaded loop end and extension chain. The necklace fastens with a lobster claw clasp.

SUSTAINABLE & Eco Friendlier: I created this pendant with Upcycled Sterling Silver, Upcycled Vintage Citrine and Local Freshwater Sea Glass combined with new Sterling Silver and Gemstones purchased locally. I used hand tools and the most earth friendly methods of construction possible. I purchased all my materials locally. This pendant necklace is made to last a lifetime with care.
