Handcrafted Personalized Moonstone ankle bracelet made with 925 Sterling Silver & three gorgeous genuine Rainbow Moonstones.
The three thick disk shaped 6mm rainbow moonstones are faceted on the outside edge. the three milky white gemstones are securely wire wrapped in a row to sparkly Italian, 925 Sterling Silver, flat cable link chain. A round (8mm) initial pendant dangles beside the Moonstones
The anklet is securely finished with a wire wrapped bead and hammered loop on the end and fastens with a secure Lobster Claw clasp.
These high-quality Rainbow Moonstones are a milky white color, slightly translucent and some parts of the stones have some blue flash of color, visible at certain angles are you move them in the light. Some stones have more opulence than others.
Rainbow Moonstone is a milky white or more transparent stone, some have little flashes of color, mainly blue. This effect is called the schiller (adularescence), this occurs as light is refracted between layers in the stone.
Rainbow Moonstone is delicate, a type of Feldspar similar to Labradorite. It ranks 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale.
Moonstone got it name from ancient times with people believed that moonbeams were trapped inside the stones. The Romans believed that moonbeams were frozen in the stones, other cultures believed the stones were created by the moon.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
