Long Pink Pearl Cubic Zirconia Cluster Earrings, handmade with faceted, drop shaped Pink Cubic Zirconia and a long cluster of dangling pink Freshwater Cultured Pearls.
I wanted to create a classy, luxurious pair of pink pearl earrings with the sparkle of Cubic Zirconia, the sheen of pink Freshwater Cultured Pearls and the added warmth of gold. These pink statement earrings look amazing!
I used 1/20 14k Gold Filled Wire to wrap a pair of faceted Cubic Zirconia drop shaped stones (12mm long) into briolette’s and dangled them on Vermeil rolo chain (gold plated sterling silver) and added 6 x 6mm long pale pink Freshwater Cultured Pearls to create a cluster of elegant pink.
The earrings dangle on my handcrafted French style earring wires.
Gold filled is the next best thing to pure gold! Gold filled is not the same as gold plated metal, it has a thick layer, 1/20th of solid 14K gold is permanently bonded to a base metal, usually brass. Gold filled jewellery is easy to care for and can last a lifetime!
Vermeil is Gold plated Sterling Silver.
Cubic Zirconia sparkles like a flawless diamond, it is usually called synthetic diamond because it is the most popular diamond alternative, since it was first produced in the 1970’s. This is the favorite Ethical alternative to conflict diamonds, for those who love the look of diamonds but want peace of mind while they enjoy the brilliant sparkles.
Cubic Zirconia is a laboratory created Zirconium, remarkably similar to diamond, very hard, it measures 8.5 on the Mohs harness scale. These stones are durable and can be worn every day.
