Eco Friendly Long Sterling Silver Aventurine and blue Quartz Earrings made with Upcycled and new Sterling Silver, Upcycled Vintage Aventurine cabochons and faceted blue Quartz.
The oval shaped soft green Aventurine cabochons (14mm long) are set in Vintage Sterling Silver, I used Sterling Silver wire to create a swirling design with new 4mm round polished Aventurine and faceted 6mm blue Quartz stones (dyed).
These long gemstone earrings are wearable art, perfect for anyone who loves one of a kind artisan jewellery and those who love Boho style.
Transformation is a major theme and inspiration in my work, taking something old, broken or discarded and creating something new, beautiful, and valuable.
It brings me peace and immense joy to create Sustainable, Eco Friendlier jewellery by Upcycling and Re-purposing old, vintage, broken jewellery, Sterling Silver, Gold, fascinating Vintage Gemstones, Crystal, local Beach Glass, etc., whenever possible, instead of newly mined and processed materials. Reusing old Gemstones is more Ethical and Earth Friendly.

SUSTAINABLE & Eco Friendlier: I made these earrings with Upcycled Vintage and New Sterling Silver, Upcycled and new Aventurine, with locally sourced materials using hand tools, in day light with Non-Toxic, Earth Friendly methods of construction. It is made to last a lifetime.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
