Handcrafted genuine Larimar earrings made with solid Sterling Silver and round polished Dominican Larimar Stones
My water inspired earrings have hand forged sterling silver river designs that twist and turn like a river flowing down a mountain out to the blue ocean. Gorgeous Larimar stones (6mm) dangle from the base of the hand shaped & hammered Sterling River designs (15mm long). The design is amazing and delicate, so the earrings are light weight and comfortable.
These lovely blue earrings dangle from French (fish hook) style earring wires.
Each stone is slightly different in shape and natural color variations.
Larimar is one of my favorite Gemstones, it is also called Dolphin Stone, or Stefilia's Stone. The aqua blue color is stunning, like the Caribbean Ocean! Each stone is unique, the natural inclusions and variations in color are gorgeous!
Larimar is incredibly special, it can only be found in one place in the world, in the Dominican Republic. It is extremely desirable, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to find decent quality stones now, so each piece is precious. The higher quality stones are bluer with paler blue or white inclusions, some have a little red or brown. The lesser quality stones are more brown or black. .

- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
