This is a gorgeous one of a kind Dragonfly Pendant, full of color and sparkle. I hand shaped the Dragonfly pendant and elaborately wire wrapped it with stunning blue, green and mauve / lavender purple brilliantly faceted crystal beads. The crystal sparkles wonderfully against the darker antiqued brass metal.
The colors make me think of the large dragonflies that fill the summer sky by the lake near my home. The sparkles remind me of the sun shining on them, creating a colorful shimmer as they dance in the air.
The Dragonfly pendant dangles on a long Rolo style chain, it fastens with a lobster claw clasp.
Dragonflies are beautiful, ethereal creatures that shimmer with luminous colors, blues, greens, purples, reds, etc. They look amazing as they hover, and dance though the air.
Dragonflies symbolize transformation because they spend most of their life under water as nymph’s before they mature and emerge to the surface to transform into a beautiful Dragonfly. Dragonflies are loved by many, and they hold special meanings to each person.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
