Deluxe Blue Beach Glass, Starfish, Sea Shell, Infinity, Ankle Bracelet-Anklet

      A gorgeous, Ocean theme Sterling Silver Ankle Bracelet, Bracelet made with Eco-Friendlier Blue Beach Glass (freshwater Sea Glass from Lake Ontario), A three-dimensional Shell Pendant, a detailed Starfish pendant and a Celtic Eternity Coil pendant, dangling from a decorative flat figaro style chain.

   I found this precious piece of aqua blue beach glass while walking by the lake (Lake Ontario) near my home in Port Credit. This sapphire blue color glass is rare to find here. 

     I used a single piece of wire to wrap each pendant, to represent the movement of water, with swirls and coils like eternal waves of water around the glass.

     I feel a sense of peace and joy when I can repurpose something that was once a discarded piece of broken glass that has been beautifully transformed by nature into a satiny smooth treasure.

     I used the glass just as I found it on the beach. I did not drill or alter it anyway. The glass was naturally polished in the lake, tossed back and forward in the waves.

Beach Glass is also called Sea glass, but Sea Glass comes from the ocean or sea and Beach Glass comes from freshwater bodies of water, like this glass from Lake Ontario.

     The glass forms a smooth satin finish after being tossed around in the water, hitting the rocks for many years. The process takes much longer in the lake compared to the huge ocean waves therefore it can take 50 years or more to form a full satin finish.

     Beach Glass and Sea Glass is perfect for my sustainable jewellery, it is a found material, Repurposed, Upcycled and Eco Friendly, a wonderful Sustainable Alternative to Gemstones.

    The lively sapphire blue wire wrapped pendant dangles from a fancy Figaro style chain (decorative and quite strong) with a gorgeous, three-dimensional Shell pendant (11mm long) on one side and a detailed Starfish pendant (14mm long) on the other side beach glass pendant. I created a wonderful Celtic Inspired Eternity Coil pendant (9mm long) to dangle on the end.

     The anklet is securely finished with wire wrapped beaded loops and an extension chain to make it and adjustable ankle bracelet or you can order it without an extension chain. The anklet fastens with an easy to use lobster claw clasp.
