     Convertible Sterling Silver Freshwater Cultured Peal Dangle and Post Earrings that can be worn as long dangle earrings with long chain and the large white pearl (9mm) that dangles from the base of the chain, the long chain is attached at back of the ear and the (7mm) pearl on top can be worn as studs because they are post earrings.

     These high-quality white Freshwater Cultured Peals have a luminous, shiny nacre, 

     You can wear these earrings two different ways, wear them as Peal Suds or wear them as long dangle earrings.

     The earrings come with the pearl studs and a set of butterflies back as well as the long part of the earrings that are permanently attached to butterfly backs, so they are very easy to change and wear.

    You can wear the long chain with the large pearl on almost any pair of post earrings.

    These earrings are made to last; the pearls are not glued, I used the Sterling Silver wire that goes through the pearls and wrapped and formed into Posts, they fasten with a butterfly back stamped 925.

     These earrings are elegant, modern and versatile, wear them everyday or for formal occasions. These earrings are made to last a lifetime, and they will be wonderful gifts.

     You will receive one pair of pearl studs and one pair of backings plus one pair of backings attached to the long chain and large pearl dangle.

     Pearls are rich in ancient symbolism, these gorgeous gemstones represent transformation, perfection, purity royalty and wealth. I am amazed when I look at a beautiful pearl and imagine how an irritant was transformed into a precious Gem.

   I think about how a how a piece of sand, shell, or other irritant gets trapped inside a mollusk (oyster and commonly mussels) irritating and damaging some cells (a cultured pearl has the irritant surgically inserted into the mollusk) then it releases a substance called nacre that forms a smooth shinny coating around the irritant. Over many years, layers of nacre build up and create a luminous pearl. The longer the mollusk is left in the water, the larger the pearl will grow. It's amazing to think how something that was once an irritant that damaged cells could become a beautiful, precious Gemstone as the result of a healing process.
