A fabulous one of a kind Sterling Silver, Upcyled Clear Quartz (Rock Crystal) beaded necklace with a large Clear Quartz nugget pendant, decorative openwork antiqued Sterling Silver bead and Celtic Eternity Coil.
The rough, organic looking shapes of the translucent Quartz are polished and smooth, they remind me of chunks of ice along the shore of the lake in Winter. The ice reflects light and makes the water and beach sparkle in the sunshine.
The smaller odd shaped highly polished Clear Quartz beads are over 25 years old and very clear. The large nugget of clear quartz is newer maybe 10 years, it has been hammered into a rough shape and polished.
The large Clear Quartz nugget (29mm long) (1 1/8” long) looks so natural with inclusions and rough shape. I used Sterling Silver wire to hand forage a Celtic inspired Eternity Coil on the base of the nugget, it dangles from a wire wrapped, antiqued Sterling Silver decorative bead (12mm).
This elegant, organic looking Quartz necklace fastens with an easy-to-use round Toggle Clasp. The necklace is made to last, strung on the highest quality, extra strong, flexible, 49 strand nylon coated Stainless Steel Beading Wire.
The stones are organic looking, but the translucent stones with Sterling Silver make this necklace very elegant, perfect to wear for any occasion.

SUSTAINABLE & Eco Friendlier: I created this necklace with Old Clear Quartz Crystal Beads (over 25 years old) and newer nugget, with hand tools and the most earth friendly methods of construction possible. I purchased my materials locally in Canada. This necklace is made to last a lifetime with care.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
