One of a kind, Art Deco inspired Amethyst Pendant made with solid 925 Sterling silver, a natural Amethyst crystal nugget (14mm wide, at widest point) and a large, polished Chevron Amethyst (26mm - 1” long).
The two unique stones are decoratively wrapped with Sterling Silver wire with a coil design below the Chevron stone. The stones dangle from a decorative, openwork barrel shaped bail (7mm wide).
This one of a kind pendant has an organic, natural looks, but the design is similar to the popular antique Art Deco long pendants.
The pendant hangs from either a Sterling Silver Snake chain or Rolo chain. They fasten with a spring ring clasp.
Amethyst is a type of Quartz crystal; its color ranges from deep purple to pale lavender; some stones have a little red or pink in them. Amethyst is a hard, durable stone, it rates 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. The clear translucent stones are usually cut, polished, and faceted.
The stones found in solid natural crystalline shapes are more popular now and are often left in their original shapes or drilled for pendants.
The opaque stones are very beautiful, some have bands of white Quartz, hey are called Chevron Amethyst and some have V shaped bands, often called Dog Tooth Amethyst.
Some Amethyst stones are called: Lavender Amethyst or Pink Amethyst, the names only refer to their colors.
Amethyst is the Traditional and Ancient February birthstone (Ancient: Hebrew, Russian, Polish and United Kingdom).

using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
