Aqua Beach Glass Freshwater Cultured Pearl Bracelet-Freshwater Sea Glass

     Eco Friendly Sterling Silver, Freshwater Cultured Pearl beaded bracelet featuring a gorgeous aqua blue, Beach Glass (Freshwater Sea Glass) pendant dangling from a stunning, detailed, openwork Sterling Silver bead (bail) in the center of the Bracelet.

    The white baroque Freshwater Cultured Pearls and a gorgeous wire wrapped pendant made with aqua blue Upcycled local Beach Glass.

    The soft aqua blue and silver look amazing with the white baroque pearls, the look is elegant and organic, very rich.

      This one of a kind bracelet is strung on high quality, extra strong, flexible, 49 strand nylon coated Stainless Steel Beading Wire.

      The bracelet is finished with wire guards, crimp cover beads, and a 1” extension chain. The bracelet fastens with a lobster claw clasp.    

      I found this precious piece of Aqua Blue beach glass while walking by the lake (Lake Ontario) near my home in Port Credit.

      I wrapped the rare aquamarine color blue glass with a single piece of Sterling Silver wire to create a playful little pendant. The single piece of wire represents the movement of water, never ending waves around the glass.

     I feel a sense of peace when I can repurpose and old discarded piece of broken glass that has been beautifully transformed by nature into a satiny smooth treasure.

      I used the glass just as I found it on the beach. I did not drill or alter it anyway. The glass was naturally polished in the lake, tossed back and forward in the waves. 

     Beach Glass is also called Sea glass, but Sea Glass comes from the ocean or sea and Beach Glass comes from freshwater bodies of water, like this glass from Lake Ontario.

    The glass forms a smooth satin finish after being tossed around in the water, hitting the rocks for many years. The process takes much longer in the lake compared to the huge ocean waves therefore it can take 50 years or more to form a full satin finish. Beach glass is an Eco Friendly, Sustainable Alternative to Gemstones.

     Beach Glass and Sea Glass represent transformation and renewal.

PEARLS: are uniquely beautiful, satiny smooth, comfortable to wear, and they look better the more you wear them. Pearls absorb the natural oils from your skin, enriching their luster and preserving them.

    Pearls are rich in ancient symbolism, they represent Transformation, Perfection, Purity and Wealth.

    I love incorporating Pearls into Bridal Jewellery because a wedding is a wonderful transformation to a new life, the joining of two souls eternally.
