Eco Friendlier, one of a kind Amethyst necklace featuring a stunning pendant set with faceted Amethyst in the centre of the necklace surrounded on either side with long polished Amethyst stones accented with little (2mm round) Sterling Silver beads. The stones and beads are securely wrapped with Sterling Silver wire to the sparkly flat cable link chain.
The gorgeous vintage Sterling Silver pendant was taken from an old broken piece of vintage jewellery. The pale purple (lavender color) faceted Amethyst stones sparkle in their original Bezel settings.
The long, uneven polished Amethyst are paler purple that varies from light to darker with inclusions, they are quite transparent. These organic looking Amethyst look amazing with the round bead like silver design on the vintage pendant. This necklace has a joyful, breezy look, the color is delicate and the style is timeless.
The end of the necklace has wire wrapped beaded loop on one end and fastens with a secure lobster claw clasp.
Transformation is a major theme and inspiration in my work, taking something old, broken or discarded and creating something new, beautiful, and valuable.
It brings me peace and immense joy to create Sustainable, Eco Friendlier jewellery by Upcycling and Re-purposing old, vintage, broken Sterling Silver and gemstones whenever possible, transforming them into new creations, giving them new life to be worn and loved for many years.

SUSTAINABLE & Eco Friendlier: I created this necklace with Upcycled Vintage Sterling Silver & Amethyst combined with new, using hand tools and the most earth friendly methods of construction possible. I purchased my materials locally. This necklace is made to last a lifetime with care.

The long Amethyst stones measure from 15mm to 23mm long.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
- I strive to run a sustainable,
