Collection: Dalmatian Jasper

Dalmatian Jasper is also called Dalmatian Stone or Mexican Stone. These fascinating spotted stones typically come from Chihuahua, Mexico. They are named after the famous Dalmatian Dogs “Fire House Dogs” with their distinctive white and black coats.

These beautiful stones look amazing, each one is unique and the colors vary a little, they are spotted with mainly light beige, cream or grey with contrasting black spots.

Dalmatian Jasper is a natural stone, but, it is not actually a true Japer, it is a combination of microcrystalline quartz , feldspar and the black spots are made of tourmaline, iron oxide or possibly other minerals.

Dalmatian Jasper is quite durable, it measures 6-1/2 to 7  on the Mohs hardness scale.
