I created these wonderful, Limited Edition handmade, Victorian inspired chandelier earrings with brilliant deep red faceted Czech fire polished glass beads. The faceted glass beads look like crystal, they illuminate with a deep gem red color as light passes through them and they sparkle like faceted Victorian Garnets.
I designed the earrings with chain that creates a lightweight diamond shape, with swags of dangle chain and 4mm and 6mm dangling red beads create playful movement.
The dark black metal looks like oxidized silver giving these stunning earrings an authentic Victorian look, inspired by one of my favorite styles of Victorian jewellery made with Garnets and oxidized Silver.
I really love working with shiny and satin black Gun metal, it always looks elegant. The shiny black Gun metal has a Hematite like finish. I chose the finish to complement the stones, crystal, or glass, to enhance colors and highlight detail, etc.
The dark metal is perfect for creating my Vintage Inspired jewellery, especially my Victorian inspired as well as my modern, minimalist designs.
The high quality Gun Metal finishes are durable and easy to care for. The metal is already dark, so you don’t have to worry about it tarnishing. If it gets dirty you just wipe it with a soft, clean cloth. The Gun metal finish may have a copper, brass, or base metal base. You can enjoy wearing this unique, handmade jewellery for many years.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
