Elegant Ice Blue Necklace

     I created this beautiful, one of a kind, handmade necklace using 925 Sterling Silver, a fantastic aqua blue, rectangular glass pendant foil lined glass seed beads.

    The large glass pendant is an intense aqua blue (54cm) 2 ¼” long x (3.7cm wide) 1 5/8” wide), the front of the pendant has silver foil and two black strips running through it separating the lighter sections.

     I used the aqua blue, foil lined glass seed beads and wire to create three wraps of beads, a coil style bail where the three beaded strands go through to form the multi strand necklace.

   The necklace is finished with sterling silver. The necklace fastens with a secure 9mm long lobster claw clasp that fastens anywhere along the upcycled vintage Sterling Silver chain (5.2cm) 2 1/16” long). I love adjustable necklaces, so easy to wear.

  I added a round, aqua blue, foil glass bead (10mm) dangling front the end of the sterling silver extension chain. This is a fantastic and very unique necklace, very youthful and fresh.

   This necklace makes me think of the ocean, waves of water rolling into the beach.  The silver foil makes me think of the foam on top of the waves. This necklace is full of cheerful movement and colour.

  This necklace will be wonderful for someone who loves water, the ocean, the beach, perfect for someone who loves bold designs and Statement Jewelry.
