I created these sparkle, Eco Friendlier, Handmade one of a kind earrings inspired by the brilliant Green Aurora borealis, crystal cut glass butterflies (15mm wide). I just fell in love with these colorful butterflies, they are not just green, but, they have an aurora with a blazing fire of colors: pink, blue, yellow, and green.
I used Sterling Silver wire and lovingly wrapped the butterflies to dangle bellow a dancing cluster of Up-cycled Vintage crystal from an old 1950’s necklace. The Vintage green / blue side drilled roundels are combined with new green crystal bicone beads made in Austria.
These brilliant long green crystal earrings are beautiful and unique. The vintage crystal beads bring pink and blue Aurora finish color into the crystal clusters.
As you move, the light radiates off the crystal with so much color and sparkle. The Butterflies dangle as if flying, the are stunning.
The long green Butterfly earrings dangle on French (fish hooks) style earring wires, but you can also order Hand Forged French style earring hooks, Leaver Back style or Posts.
Butterflies are incredible, not only are they beautiful, ethereal creatures, but they symbolize transformation & hope, and they also have special spiritual meaning for me.
These earrings will be wonderful May Birthday gifts because Emerald green is the May Birthstone and even August Birthday Gifts because Peridot green is the August birthstone.
