Deluxe Personalized Beach Glass, Seahorse, Initial Ankle Bracelet, Anklet

   I found this precious piece of aqua blue beach glass while walking by the lake (Lake Ontario) near my home in Port Credit. Aqua blue is rare to find here. 

     I used a single piece of wire to wrap each pendant, to represent the movement of water, with swirls and coils like eternal waves of water around the glass.
     I feel a sense of peace and joy when I can repurpose something that was once a discarded piece of broken glass that has been beautifully transformed by nature into a satiny smooth treasure.
     I used the glass just as I found it on the beach. I did not drill or alter it anyway. The glass was naturally polished in the lake, tossed back and forward in the waves.
     Beach Glass is also called Sea glass, but Sea Glass comes from the ocean or sea and Beach Glass comes from freshwater bodies of water, like this glass from Lake Ontario.
The glass forms a smooth satin finish after being tossed around in the water, hitting the rocks for many years. The process takes much longer in the lake compared to the huge ocean waves therefore it can take 50 years or more to form a full satin finish.
     Beach Glass and Sea Glass is perfect for my sustainable jewellery, it is a found material, Repurposed, Upcycled and Eco Friendly, a wonderful Sustainable Alternative to Gemstones.

  The lively aqua blue Beach Glass wire wrapped pendant dangles from a sparkly Flat Cable link style chain. The wire wrapped pendant measure (15mm long), it dangles with a gorgeous, three-dimensional Seahorse pendant (17mm long) and a round disk shaped, Hand Stamped Initial pendant (8mm round) and a Celtic Inspired Eternity Coil pendant (9mm long) that dangles on the end of the anklet. 

    The pendants dangle on an Italian Flat Cable link style chain (3.2 mm). This chain sparkles as light reflects of the flat polished surfaces of the links, it is quite strong. The Celtic Inspired Eternity Coil pendant (9mm long) dangles on the end opposite the clasp.

    The anklet is securely finished with wire wrapped beaded loops and an extension chain to make it and adjustable ankle bracelet or you can order it without an extension chain. The anklet fastens with an easy to use lobster claw clasp.
