My Star Garnet Bracelet is gorgeous, made with rich deep red, slightly pink, genuine Garnets, and solid Sterling Silver. The beaded red Gemstone bracelet features three Sterling Silver Stars with the round, highly polished 4mm round genuine Garnets.

The Garnet and Sterling Silver stars are strung on gem quality, 49 strand nylon coated stainless steel beading wire and is finished with Sterling Silver crimps, crimp covers, beads, wire wrapped loops on the end and the bracelet fastens with a secure lobster claw clasp. The bracelet is adjustable with a 1" extension chain

This bracelet is beautiful and full of symbolism. I was thinking about Love. The three Stars represent Today, Tomorrow and Forever, each of the little Star beads are stamped 925 one side.

"A love like ours can never die, it will last longer than the stars in the sky
Today, Tomorrow and Forever I will Love you"

This is a stunning, high quality piece of jewellery, it is an adjustable bracelet, perfect for gifts.

Garnets are gorgeous deep red gemstones; they have adored jewellery for thousands of years. They have been used in Holy and Royal jewellery and artifacts.  Garnets fascinate me, they look and feel beautiful, I love the color; the way light Illuminates the dark red stone. I adore and collect the highly collectable, decorative Victorian Garnet jewellery. Queen Victoria made the ornate red stone jewellery popular and fashionable.

This deep red variety of Garnet is called Almandine, the color ranges from deep red to reddish brown. The deep red stones were called Carbuncle in ancient times and  is listed as one of the gemstones stones in the Holy Breast Plate of the High Priest, as written in Exodus 28: 17 (KJV) “And thou shalt set in it settings of stones, even four rows of stones: the first row shall be a sardius, a topaz, and a carbuncle; this shall be the first row”.

The deep red Almandine variety of Garnet is the hardest of all the stones. The desirable translucent stone are Gemstone, but the opaque stones are ground up and used as an abrasive.

The hardness of Garnets ranges from 6 to 7.5 on the Mohs hardness scale.

The name Garnet comes from ancient English language from the Renaissance period (14th century) the word means “dark red” . I have also heard that the name comes from the old French word “ grain seed”, the  small deep red Garnet crystals were supposed resemble the intense red Pomegranate seeds.

There are many species of Garnets and come in many colors that vary from the most common deep red, all the way to Green and the blue.

The Almandine variety is the deep red Garnet, the pink to purple translucent Garnet is called Pyrope, the orange to red color is called Spessartine. Tsavorite is a very desirable green and the rarest is the blue garnet. Andradite is also green, but also yellow, red, and brown.

Garnet is the ancient, traditional, and modern January birthstone.
