This is a one of a kind, Sterling Silver Pendant made with Vintage BC Canadian Jade (Nephrite Jade), Upcycled Vintage Sterling Silver with a small amount of new Sterling Silver. This Eco Friendlier pendant represents a paddle used to travel along a river, the river represents a journey, to follow your dreams.
I created a hammered texture that captures light as it moves, it represents sunshine sparkling on the water as you paddle up the river to a wonderful future. The seven rings of silver at the top of the paddle, just below the Vintage Jade stone. The rings of silver stone ripples of water, and the number seven represents perfection and competition, the Jade, a precious Gemstone represents the prize, a happy, peaceful, fulfilling future.
There is a Sterling Silver bead on top of the stone, and I created a wire wrapped bail.
This pendant dangles on a high quality rolo style, Italian Sterling Silver chain. The chain fastens with a spring ring clasp.
Transformation is a major theme and inspiration in my work. I love to create Eco Friendlier jewellery with Sustainable materials, by Upcycling / Re-purposing old Vintage Gemstones, Pearls, Glass, Silver, Beach Glass and more. I feel peace working with these more Ethical materials and I get a great sense of satisfaction and joy transforming these old treasures into new creations, to be worn and loved for many years, sure to become heirloom jewellery.
MATERIALS: Upcycled / Repurpose and new Sterling Silver, Vintage Canadian Jade (Nephrite Jade) and Love.
MEASUREMENTS: Pendant measures (7cm) 2 3/4” long with 16” to 20” rolo style chain.
You can order a 16” to 20” chain.

- I am an Eco Conscious artist, I love nature, so I go out of my way to create my jewellery with the most Earth Friendly methods of construction possible.
- Many pieces are created with Eco Friendly, Sustainable, Upcycled, Repurposed, Pre-loved Vintage Gemstones, broken jewellery materials, and found items like local beach glass.
- I create every piece by hand,
using mainly hand tools, natural light whenever possible and non toxic polishes and glues, etc with rare exceptions. I use many things from my kitchen to clean, polish and oxidize my jewellery.
- I use Eco Friendly, Sustainable packaging and shipping materials and we usually walk to the post office or take public transit to ship packages, further reducing my carbon footprint.
